Shanghai International Medical Center “SIMC” is a large comprehensive hospital with 500 beds. As a "healthcare reform pilot project" of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Government, SIMC integrates expert resources from top public hospitals into international quality private medical services, committed to serving patients nationwide and even globally.

SIMC officially began operations on May 28, 2014. It was built by Baihui Medical Group, a leading global and Asia's largest medical group under IHH Group, which has won multiple Asian Hospital Management Awards, following the standards of the Joint Commission International (JCI). SIMC is a large comprehensive hospital with an international medical perspective, modern services, and standardized medical management. The hospital has a total of 500 beds, 118 outpatient clinics, 15 operating rooms, and 10 integrated maternity wards, equipped with advanced large-scale equipment such as CT, MRI, DSA, etc.

As one of the "healthcare reform pilot projects" of the National Health and Family Planning Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Government, and designated as a physician multi-point practice pilot unit by the Shanghai Municipal Health and Family Planning Commission, SIMC has reached cooperation with expert teams from 10 well-known tertiary hospitals in Shanghai.
